VitoApp adds captions to your videos. Pick a video and the app writes out what is said in it, with each line timed to the audio. If you want it in another language, choose one and it gets translated. You can fix any line before you export, change how the captions look, and save a copy of the video with them burned in.

Transcribing on your phone, free
Short clips can be transcribed by the phone itself, at no cost and with no account. Nothing is sent anywhere: not the video, not the audio, not the transcript. You choose where each video is transcribed before it starts, and the app says which one you are about to use.
Minutes
Transcribing on our servers, translating, and clips longer than the free limit are paid for in minutes. Minutes are bought once through the App Store, do not renew, and do not expire. There is no subscription.
Support
Write to us and a person will read it. Tell us what you were doing and what happened; if it is about a specific video, the time and the language help.
We answer in English and Arabic.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account and its data from inside the app at any time, under Profile → Delete account. What survives it, and why, is set out in the privacy policy.
